Office of the Commissioner for Residential Tenancies

The Commissioner for Residential Tenancies provides independent advice to the Victorian Government to inform the development of residential tenancy policy and legislative frameworks, programs and services.

Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages

The Victorian Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages was established in 1853 and holds registers for recording the births, deaths, marriages and adoptions of people in Victoria.

Working with Children Check

The Working with Children (WWC) Check Unit contributes to the safety and protection of children. It is responsible for checking criminal records and findings from relevant professional bodies from employees, self-employees, persons and volunteers engaged in defined categories of child-related work and managing the process of issuing Working with Children assessments and cards. The Unit also works with the Child Safety Commissioner in the provision of community education in the promotion of child safety practices in organisations that work or volunteer with children.
